Paris St Germain defender and Arsenal target Mamadou Sakho insists he is staying at the French club.
His agent had claimed the player could join Arsenal this summer but the 19-year-old said: ‘I am not going anywhere. There are not any transfer talks. There have been approaches by other clubs but I am staying with PSG.
“What I have to do is to meet the new manager to sort out my position, to see if he is counting on me. Anyway, my contract runs until 2012.”
He added in a statement released on his personal website: ‘I want to formally refute the statements that have been published in the press.
‘There was never any question that I leave PSG. No transfer is in process.’
